Ichetucknee Springs State Park Nature Trails

Ichetucknee Springs State Park provides three unique self-guided nature trails with different views of the river for visitors to enjoy located at the North Entrance of the park. Maps for each trail are available at the information booths and Ranger stations.

Trestle Point Trail is a beautiful and shaded path that guides you along the Ichetucknee River for approximately 30 minutes.

Blue Hole Trail is a leisurely half mile walk through the forest, which leads to the largest spring in the park, Blue Hole Spring.

Pine Ridge Trail two mile self-guided loop through majestic sandhill huge pine trees and open vistas. This trail takes an estimated 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete. All three of the nature trails are easy and leisurely. The walks are a relaxing trip back in time and a chance to view a beautiful and vanishing ecosystem.

Picnicking

Picnic areas are provided by the park at the North and South entrances on a first come, first served basis. Picnic areas are equipped with tables and grills. There is also a full concession stand with food and even some outdoor products that might be useful. Reservations can be made in advance for covered picnic pavillions by calling (386) 497-4690.
