Rose Cave / Rose Sink - Ichetucknee River

In 1996 it was discovered that stormwater from Columbia City and State Road 47 flows into Rose Sink, and then through Rose Cave before reaching The Ichetucknee River within a week.

A group known as the Ichetucknee Springs Basin Working Group worked together in an effort to have a retention pond constructed to capture stormwater and stop pollution.
