Scuba Diving at Ichetucknee Springs

Scuba diving is allowed at Blue Hole Spring from October through March for cave certified divers only.

Blue Hole Spring is the largest and deepest spring in the park (first-magnitude), with amazing scenery and easy access. There is a 1/3 to 1/2 mile walk to get there, some divers bring wheelbarrows or a cart to carry their gear to and from the spring. There is a wooden platform for swimmers and divers at the NW side of the spring.

Scuba diving isonly allowed at Blue Hole Spring and not in any other area of the Ichetucknee Springs State Park or river. Dives must be completed by 3 PM.
